Taste of Loutraki – The Corinthian Food Festival 2024
Club Hotel Casino Loutraki participated in and hosted the “Taste of Loutraki – The Corinthian Food Festival 2024“, a unique gastronomy festival featuring products from the Corinthian land, held in Loutraki from May 31 to June 2. The Taste of Loutraki – The Corinthian Food Festival, now in its third consecutive year, has become an institution for both the city of Loutraki and the broader Corinthia region. The Comer Group, along with Club Hotel Casino Loutraki and Wyndham Loutraki Poseidon Resort, were among the major sponsors.
On Friday, May 31, 2024, the opening event of the festival took place at the conference center of the five-star Club Hotel Casino Loutraki. The event was honored by the presence of the Mayor of Loutraki-Perachora-Agioi Theodoroi, Mr. Giorgos Gkionis, representatives of the business and journalism world, and numerous distinguished guests. Mr. Yiannis Tsekouras, Commercial Director, welcomed the festival to Club Hotel Casino Loutraki and Loutraki, greeting the attendees.
The evening continued with a magical night of cocktails on the deck of Admiral Bar, where guests had the opportunity to taste special sweet and savory creations by the chef, made with traditional local products, and specially crafted cocktails. They enjoyed the unique view of the pools and gardens of the luxurious hotel, with the stunning sunset over the Corinthian Gulf as the backdrop.
The event was covered on television by SKAI, with the Mayor Mr. Giorgos Gkionis and Mr. Thanasis Tsatsoulis, Marketing and Communications Director of Club Hotel Casino Loutraki, giving statements highlighting the festival’s significance for the local community and the boost to tourism.
Specifically, Mr. Thanasis Tsatsoulis stated: “We are delighted to host the Taste of Loutraki, an innovative multi-thematic gastronomy festival that connects the public with products from the Corinthian land. The goal of the event is to showcase the local gastronomic identity of Loutraki and Corinthia and to attract visitors from both Greece and abroad.”
During the three-day Festival, at the atmospheric Lobby Bar of Club Hotel Casino Loutraki, visitors had the opportunity to enjoy a meticulously designed menu at special prices, curated by the pastry chef and the hotel’s irresistible team. The menu featured traditional sweet delicacies from Loutraki and Corinthia, such as Geraneia loukoumi with coffee, as well as a signature cocktail created specifically for the Festival.
The “Taste of Loutraki” Festival showcases the rich gastronomic tradition with a series of engaging workshops, masterclasses, and live cooking demonstrations. The event is organized by the Loutraki Tourism Organization, the Loutraki Food Association “Xenios Zeus,” and the Corinth Chamber of Commerce, under the auspices of the Municipality of Loutraki – Perachora – Agioi Theodoroi, highlighting the uniqueness of local products. With a wide array of culinary options, the festival offers visitors an unprecedented experience, cementing its position as the ultimate gastronomic event of the year.
